Creator Statement
At Microhouse Films, we wanted to create a story that feels completely of the moment. Audiences can’t get enough of the glamorous, addictive world of reality dating shows like Love Island, while films like Glass Onion have reignited our love for stylish murder mysteries filled with secrets and betrayal. Reunion Island brings those worlds together, taking the romance, rivalries, fame, and carefully curated personas of reality television and placing them inside a deadly psychological game. It’s sexy, suspenseful, escapist, and unpredictable. A modern murder mystery designed for an audience obsessed with reality television, true crime, and discovering what happens when the cameras stop rolling.
