In partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, ALZA Festival spotlights five New York City storytellers pushing vertical storytelling forward.
The “Made in NY” Award finalists are the creators behind Investigator, Investigator, Watch Hill, Kyle Has Tourette’s, Besties, and The Super NYC. Spanning comedy, thriller, friendship, and distinctly New York stories, their work celebrates the breadth of voices and creative approaches emerging across the city.
All five finalists will screen their work as part of ALZA Festival’s official program, with one storyteller named the first vertical storytelling recipient of the iconic “Made in NY” Award.
