Creator Statement
Characters. Las Vegas. Mistaken identity. Star-crossed lovers. Unresolved until the last frame. Those were the opening salvos of the drama that would unfold into comedy and some of the deepest love notes I could express. The characters of Brad and Violet are broad and hyper-contextual, but rooted in some of the most human faults and yearnings. The wild ride they take was a plot secondary to an investment in the two and their search for a better version of themselves, with love to carry them through all the way to the end.
Filmmaker Bio
Writer of The Age of Adaline, the Blake Lively- and Harrison Ford-led romantic drama, Salvador has directed the 2025 award-winning short film The Big Everything, starring James Wolk and Bradley Whitford. In 2026, he teamed up with partner Timo Nelligan to create Super Punchy Studios with top talent from the vertical space: Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Sam Myerson, Molly Anderson, and Haley Lorhli. His first breakout hit, Step By Step, is distributed in collaboration with TikTok, as well as on the Super Punchy app.
