NYC Rolodex Recs
NYC Rolodex Recs
Directed by Mari Huang
When a stranger's rolodex turns up at an estate sale, its handwritten cards become a map to the enduring New York shops and the characters behind them, each entry a doorway into a vanishing city.

Creator Statement
I'd only recently moved to New York when I found the rolodex, and following its cards became my strange, secondhand way of getting to know the city. It felt as if the woman who kept it was showing me around, one favorite spot at a time. What started as curiosity turned into connection. I hope audiences leave feeling the same pull: to push open a door they've always walked past, talk to the person behind the counter, and notice how much history is still quietly holding on around them.
